The 2nd release in Pascal Rogé's Debussy piano cycle. Perfect shadings and nuances, exceptional balance and tone. The famous Clair de Lune for example, is played here within the context of the suite it is an integral part of, and performed with delicacy and elegance, but not Hollywoodized (if I can permit myself to use such an expression) like some versions, to try and make it overly sweet. Debussy straight up!
